To finally fix this problem, go into the internet settings options, go to the connection tab, into LAN Settings and untick the proxy settings. I have also connected it direct to the cable modem via cat 6 cable to see if I can get it to browse. All rights reserved. I could ping just fine, Firewall was off, had no other problems.
