It would appear that ESET's in-procress interception and analysis of such UDP data is inefficient and causes high CPU usage. Apparently Google Desktop was indexing my torrents while they were running. I can't figure out what the process might be that is conflicting with Vuze. Try /r/filesharing instead.

I uninstalled itunes, which I never really used much anyway.
