These are the only instructions I could find to delete the folders. Odd thing, Microsoft naming it that. One other possibility to consider is that the file or folder is locked or otherwise obscurely "in use". I was able to navigate to a sub folder that contained a file I was deleting but this parent folder was not visible and i had set show hidden files.
