The profile can/should be copied only if the location is moved to another server in the *same* domain, which is why I'm asking whether this is a migration or an upgrade. You might have to take ownership of the profile folders before you're able to copy over the profiles (works for W2k3 as well), and you should make the users owners of Check that you are connected to the network, and that your network is functioning correctly. ACCESS DENIED IS THE RESULT.
