Click the ''+'' sign next to it to expand the directory, then click the + sign next ''Local Disk (C: ) then again the + sign next to ''Documents and Settings''. I suspect that, in my case, a clean install would have also fixed the issue, at least for my C drive folders. Unfortunately I've lost Cortana and the OneDrive integration but everything else works fine now. Thank you for helping us maintain CNET's great community. I fixed it by checking for any updates (Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update) then restarting.
